| Another part of our ministry is taking the
Gospel of Jesus Christ to Native Americans. We call
these people, "First Nations People" because they were in fact here
"First." Hungry for spiritual truth, many tribes have been
inundated with "New Age" teaching, being told that this is the true
religion of their ancestors. In reality, if you dig deep, our
Native ancestors worshiped "The Great Spirit" who in fact is really the
creator of all things. Our vision is to bring the message of
Jesus Christ to these tribes, teaching them who the Great Spirit really
is. We aim to do this in a way that is respectful of native
culture. Mark's grandfather was in fact, a member of the Chippewa Nation in the State of Michigan. Orphaned as a child, he and his siblings were placed in a Children's home where they were robbed of their native culture. Mark is very proud of his native heritage, and has always held a deep love in his heart for all First Nations people. Our ministry reaches out to these people in several different ways. |

| PowWows:
Together
with our friends, the Haslett Family, we set up an authentic
lodge (teepee) at various native powows across the country.
Dressed in native costume, we share Christ through Native Christian
Music, reading material and personal one on one witnessing.
Mark also performs Native Christian Songs in the 'Main Circle' at
various times during the weekends. Concerts: Missions and other churches on reservations invite us to come and do services/concerts. Many doors and hearts are opened just by the fact that Mark is of Native descent. While visiting the reservations, we make ourselves available for other practical ministry activities as our schedule allows. Literature: We are in the discussion stages concerning authoring Gospel Tracts specifically written and designed to touch the Native American heart. |
